ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Hello! I'm Marisa of Marisa Marie Photography!

Born and raised in CNY, my love for photography started when I was a little girl. My grandma gave me her camera and asked me to capture images at family gatherings. These images told my family's story. Throughout the years, I have learned just how priceless those memories are.

Now that I have a family of my own, I want to capture as many memories as I can. That desire has lead me to become a portrait photographer. I love helping my clients capture memorable moments for them to cherish for years to come. I am honored to be able to watch their families grow, as I watch my own children grow.

What to know about me?

I am married to my wonderful husband, who supports me throughout this journey called life. Many of you know him since he's my right-hand man! I have three amazing kids and a flock of animals! I am very family-oriented. We love to travel and go on adventures. We spend most of our free time camping, kayaking, hiking, (the ADK is our 2nd home!) and being avid sports fans! GO CUBS GO!! I love to cook and pride myself on my eclectic taste in music. As a family, we are very active in our community, and give back any way we can.

Anyone can learn to create a great image. But what sets me apart IS my life experiences and interests. I am a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Friend,... then a Photographer. These relationships have molded who I am today. I love babies, people, and animals. That's exactly why I concentrate my energy on Maternity, Newborns, Families, Headshots, and Sports. Limiting my focus allows me the ability to sharpen my skills and be 100% attentive to my clients' desires, making me a passionate photographer.
